Desserts for Days

Not only is Good Eat's chicken parmesan sandwich gaining gossip, but come sample our desserts!  For all you dessert lovers out there, this is your next stop.  The pecan & walnut pie is different, yet exciting.  Served with vanilla ice cream, crumbled pistachio, and swirled with caramel, you can’t go wrong with that.

Also on the dessert menu is the chocolate brownie sundae.  Topped with cocoanut whipped cream this is a chocoholics dream.  The next time at Good Eat's leave room in the stomach to put down one of these.  I hope all you diners out there enjoy my recommendations. Great Customer Satsifaction

Heading over to Good Eat's for the first time last week was interesting.  I get off the bus in the Haight Ashbury district in San Francisco, CA, and I am immediately engulfed in the culture of the neighborhood.  There were people walking all over wearing all different clothing.  This was around six pm because the restaurant doesn’t open till then.  I walk down to the corner of Webster and Haight to get my dining on!  Their wonderful staff of young people welcomed me as soon as I walked through the doors.  They were very helpful and nice and on the spot with ordering drinks and food.
As I walked in I noticed the booth style seating.  It was very well lit so I could read the menu that was written on a chalkboard in the front.  I’m assuming they have the menu like this to avoid spending the money on paper menus.  Nevertheless, I proceeded to order.  Everything on the menu was priced reasonably.  Only a couple things on the menu were over ten dollars.  I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich based on recommendation from my extraordinary server.  He brought out a basket of French fries with some ketchup, and interestingly enough, blue cheese sauce. If you are a connoisseur of the fried potato, then these will have tasting heaven.
My food came out pronto.  It was delicious!  I was worried I would be hungry when I left but I need not worry.  The chicken was breaded and the bread was so warm and fluffy.  The marinara was just right which met with the basil just right.  The Blue Moon beverage I had in front of me complemented the taste perfectly.  The server was very attentive through my entire meal filling my water glass regularly.

For all you out there who need a new local restaurant to try, Good Eat's is your place.  Only having been open for a few months, it is not on many diners maps yet.  But as word gets out on that chicken sandwich, it’s not going to be so new any more.  The atmosphere is great.  The seating style really complements the feel in doors.  Everyone is talkative, laughing, and having a good time.  It is that next great place you can’t get enough of. Enjoy my fellow diners!
